Jeffery L. Bush

Jeffery L. Bush, 52, of East Lawrence Street, Mishawaka, Ind., passed away at 11:08 a.m. Monday, June 25, in Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, South Bend, Ind. He was born Oct. 1, 1948, in LaPorte, Ind., to Cyril and Margy Bush, who preceded him in death.

On May 2, 1978, in Osceola, Ind., he married the former Peggy A. Mastagh, who survives. He is also survived by two sons, Jeremy Bush and Michael (Kim) Robinson, both of Mishawaka; a daughter, Shelly (Johnny) Ringhoffer of Osceola; a sister, Sharon Cabanaw of Mishawaka; and by a niece, Samantha Cabanaw of Mishawaka.

Mr. Bush was a signal. maintenance operator for the Norfolk and Southern Railroad. Jeff was a loving father, husband and brother. He was the type of person who would give you anything he had.

He made friends with everyone he met. He was a member of the Bass Lunker Club. He will be greatly missed by his best friends, Dennis Carter, neighbor of 23 years, and lifelong friend, Jerry Watkins. His love of fishing and hunting will always be with us and those who knew him. Jeff dearly loved his family and was very proud of his son, Jeremy, who recently became a South Bend firefighter.

The family requests, in lieu of flowers, that contributions be made to the South Bend Firefighters FCU for the families of firefighters who are in need. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday in the Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 North. Main Street, Mishawaka, were friends will be received from 4 p.m. until the time of the services Friday.
