SOUTH BEND - Betty Jean Rizzo, 82, residing in South Bend, IN, passed away at 5:03 a.m. Tuesday, January 15, 2013, at Hospice House, South Bend. She worked as hostess and floor manager of the Morris Park Country Club, South Bend. She was born on April 2, 1930, in South Bend, IN, to the late Casimier and Sophie (Jroszewski) Robaska.

Betty graduated from Clay High School, South Bend.

Betty is survived by her daughter, Anna (Jeff) Morrett of Granger; two sons, Chris Rizzo of South Bend and Vince (Kim) Rizzo of Indianapolis; daughter-in-law, Susan Rizzo of Mishawaka; five grandchildren, Jason (Melissa) Rizzo of Niles, Carissa Sanders of Mishawaka, Anthony (Beth) Rizzo of Noblesville, Nicholas Rizzo and Alissa Rizzo, both of Indianapolis; four great-grandchildren, Trenton Frodyma, Gabriella Frodyma, Joseph Rizzo and Jaida Rizzo; and her sister, Doris Robaska of South Bend.

One son, Michael Rizzo, and three brothers, Al, Rich and Donald Robaska, all preceded her in death.

Services will be held at 5:45 p.m. Friday, January 18, 2013, at Palmer Funeral Home-River Park, 2528 Mishawaka Ave., South Bend, where friends may visit from 3:00 p.m. Friday until time of services. Dr. Greg Timmons, pastor of First Christian Church, Mishawaka, will officiate. Contributions in memory of Betty Rizzo may be made to Center for Hospice Care, 111 Sunnybrook Court, South Bend, IN 46637.
