MADELYN STEPHENSON

GRANGER - Madelyn Noel Stephenson, 19, of Granger, formerly of Leesburg, passed away on January 3rd, 2014. Her parents are Pam (Chad) Smith of Granger and Jason (Michelle) Stephenson of Milford. Madelyn studied dance at LeeAnn Stewart School of Dance, attended Leesburg Elementary, Lakeview Middle School and Clay High School in South Bend where she majored in dance.

Madelyn graduated with honors from Indiana Academy for Science Mathematics and Humanities in Muncie, and attended Saint Mary's College, Notre Dame, and Indiana University Bloomington where she was majoring in Environmental Science.

She is survived by her parents, grandparents, Linda (Terry) Baker of Silver Lake, Michael Noel Sr. of Leesburg, Dianne (Randall) Noel of Bourbon and Chris (Gary) Smith of Niles, Michigan, Wade (Linda Herendeen) Stephenson of Athens, IN, and Jim (Sally) Priser of Warsaw. Also surviving are her sister, Helen "Cookie" Stephenson; two brothers, Nathaniel Stephenson and Dustin Smith, all of Granger; stepsister, Jasmine Wadkins of Milford; and her boyfriend, Michael Spors of Indianapolis.

Services will be 10:30 am Friday January 10, 2014, at Mishler Funeral Home in Milford; Pastor Kim Bloom will officiate. Burial will be at the Leesburg Cemetery following the services. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 7:00 pm Thursday, January 9th, at the funeral home.
