LAWRENCE R. TROEGER

SOUTH BEND - Lawrence R. "Larry" Troeger, 71, a lifelong resident of South Bend, passed away Wednesday, March 18th. Lawrence was born October 19, 1937, in South Bend, to the late John and Ruth (Vining) Troeger. He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Alice J. DePoy and Kathryn L. Smith.

Larry is survived by his brother, John H. Troeger, of Elkhart, IN, and was a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews.

He was a 1956 graduate of Washington Clay High School. Larry received an honorable discharge from the United States Army after he served his country, stationed in Korea. He retired from Wheelhorse after working there for 30 years.

Funeral services will be held 11:30 a.m. Saturday, March 28th, in the Welsheimer Family Funeral Home, 17033 Cleveland Road, with Rev. James Campbell officiating. Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. till the time of services on Saturday. Private burial will take place at Highland Cemetery.
