(from Wife, Martha's obit) Galen taught music and business education at Fowler, Pierceton, and Portage Township before serving as a teacher and administrator from 1946 until his retirement in 1977. His work there included 10 years as principal of Clay Junior High School and 9 years teaching at John Adams High School.
