Shirley died March 1, 2023.  She lived in Cumberland, RI.  She was 90 as of January.  I looked it up on obituaries and although they didn’t have a picture of her it was a very nice obit.  Pictures of her with her family.  I am friends with her brother Duane Clobridge (Buck) from the class of 1949.  He is not in good shape and is in the hospital.  People in my age group (90) are dropping like flies.  So far I am hanging in there.  I appreciate all the good work you and you brother, Jack do.

Shirley Clobridge Barnes, 90, of Cumberland, Rhode Island, passed away Saturday at home in Dadeville, AL. She was the wife of Phinehas P. Barnes Jr. Born in Indiana; she was the daughter of Charles and Mary (Walsh) Clobridge. She was a graduate of Indiana University, receiving her BSN and Masters. In addition to spending time with her family, Mrs. Barnes loved cooking, knitting, and spending time at her summer home in Belgrade Lakes Village, Maine. She leaves her son, Phinehas P. Barnes III, and his wife Sharon, of Dadeville, AL; one grandson, Alexander P. Barnes, his wife Rachel, and their four children; one granddaughter, Rachael (Barnes) Guice, and her husband Cory; and one brother, Duane D. Clobridge. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to a charity of your choice.
