David Ivan "Mondavi" Stuckey, was born on April 10, 1984, in Fort Worth, TX, to David Frizzell and Laverne T. Wardlow. David moved to South Bend, IN where he received his formal education through South Bend Community Schools graduating from Clay High School.

He was a man defined by his infectious smile and unwavering spirit. He brought joy that was contagious towards everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. David worked as a general laborer at Lippert Components and Steel Wearhouse. He was the kind of man who never shied away from a challenge. He faced every task with an unyielding perseverance. Dr. Seuss once said, "Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened." This quote encapsulates David's approach to life, a man who faced every day with a grin on his face, leaving behind a legacy of love laughter and loyalty. "Mondavi" had many hobbies including but not limited to riding his motorcycles, making sure his cars were in pristine condition while cruising around town listening to his music. You could hear David coming from blocks away. When he pulled up on you David would have the cheekiest grin on his face only to reply with "huh". He enjoyed hanging with friends and family but most of all David loved being a father to his children.

David was called home on Thursday January 11, 2024. He leaves to cherish his loving mother, Laverne T. Wardlow of South Bend, IN; Grandmothers, Esther (Edward Kinslow) Wade of Culver Indiana; Marva Newbill South Bend IN; 3 children, David Stuckey, Gabriella Marie Stuckey and Dayva Marie Stuckey all of South Bend, IN; Goddaughter Tysis Crawford of South Bend, IN; 3 brothers, Jonathan T. Morgan Jr., Gerald D. Ross both of Indianapolis IN and Anthony G. Stuckey of South Bend IN. 2 Uncles, Nathan "Butch" (Sgt. Michelle) Cannon and Rey Newbill both of Atlanta Georgia. Aunts, Arlene (Larry) Marley, Michelle (David) Finch, Esther Holmes, Melissa Wade-Thompson all of South Bend, IN and Kelle Punch of Atlanta Georgia. Nephews, Jonathan Morgan III, Damion Ross both of Indianapolis IN, Anthony Stuckey Jr, Cayden Morgan, Jayceon Stuckey and Kevin Palmer all of South Bend, IN. Nieces, Aubrey Rose Morgan, Nishira Thompson, Kennedy Palmer and Diora Petty all of Indianapolis IN. Special Brother and Best Friend Christopher McKinney of South Bend IN.

He was preceded in death by his father, David Frizzell; son, Daveed Ivon Stuckey; Grandfather; John L. Stuckey; Aunt, Eleanor Brooks-Lacy; Uncle, James "Jim Boy" Williams; Uncle, Jessie C Stuckey Sr. Uncle,Robert Morgan, Cousin, Keith Newbill and 2 special brothers Tyson "Twerk" Crawford and Naldo Dinero.
