Jacquelin Joan (Hans) Florian

September 14, 1933 ~ October 31, 2024 (age 91)

Jacquelin Joan (Hans) Florian, 91 passed away peacefully Thursday, October 31 at 6:57 p.m. surrounded by family.

She married D. Charles Florian on November 7, 1953. They had 5 children Pat (Ted) Campbell, Jeff (Rhonda) Florian, Kay Rantz, David (Theresa) Florian, Nancy (Ryan) Grant. She had 17 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.

She was a talented upholstery worker. She loved to donate her time to the women's ministry at St. Peter's Lutheran Church organizing the annual bazaar, rummage sales, sewing blankets for World Relief, making cheese balls, and binding braille bibles. She was a Sunday school teacher for many years. She enjoyed playing games with her grandchildren when they were young. She loved being outside, watching birds and going on park visits around Indiana and Michigan.

She was proceeded in death by her husband Chuck, son Jeff, daughter Pat, great granddaughter June Florian and her only sibling Carol Sporre.

Friends may call on Sunday November 3 from 2 to 5 PM. The funeral will be Monday at 11 AM with visitation 1 hour prior to the service. Please dress in joyful colors and limit black as much as possible. Both services will be held at Palmer Funeral Home - Bubb Chapel 3910 N. Main St. Mishawaka, IN 46545. Internment will be immediately following the service at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola Indiana.
