Diane Lynn Klimek

OSCEOLA - Diane L. Coddens-Klimek passed away at Hospice House of South Bend after a long battle with Leiomyosar-coma, a form of cancer. Diane was born to Lawrence and Clara (Solliday) Coddens in Mishawaka.
She had been employed by the U.S.P.S. for many years. Diane was a special person; she was a Rainbow Girl moving on to Past Worthy Advisor; she received her Grand Cross of Colors and then became a Grand Officer. She then joined the Eastern Star where she was a proud member. Diane had also taken Taekwondo lessons with her son, Mike, where she received her second degree black belt.
Diane is survived by a "special friend" and also by her parents, Lawrence & Clara Coddens; her son, Mike (Brooke) Coddens-Klimek, and their daughter, Raegan of Kirklin, IN; her daughter, Krysta (Zach) Persun, and their children, Jaxon & Kenzie of Mishawaka, IN. She is also survived by her sister, Nancy Weiser, and several nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be held at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Hwy., Saturday, March 21, 2015, from 12-2 pm, followed by a Celebration of Diane's Life at 2:00 pm with Pastor Denver Burns officiating. The family's preferred memorial is Hospice House of South Bend, c/o Hospice Foundation, 501 Comfort Place, Mishawaka IN 46545.
