SOUTH BEND Services for Gregory W. Lovett, 16, of Westmoor Street, who died at 3:25 p.m. Sunday in home of natural causes, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger.

Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in Kaniewski Funeral Home, where a prayer service will be at 8:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Gregory W. Lovett Memorial Fund, in care of Teachers Credit Union. Gregory was a junior at Clay High School.

He was born Oct. 25, 1977, in South Bend, and was a lifelong area resident. He is survived by his parents, Mary J. and James L. Lovett of South Bend; maternal grandparents, Lea and Paul Berndt of South Bend; and a paternal grandmother and stepgrandfather, Mary Lee Lovett Keneipp and Richard Keneipp of Rantoul, Ill.

He was a member of the church, South Bend Silver Hawks Booster Club, Chippewa Bowl Junior Bowl Physically Challenged League, and was a 1992 Honor Roll student.
