Annie Lee (Elzey) Smith

June 5, 1962 - July 5, 2002

Annie Lee Smith, 40, loving daughter and sister, who resided on Blossom Trail, South Bend, Ind., passed away. Annie was born on June 5, 1962, in Sunflower, Miss., to the union of Richard and Shirley (Buchanon) Elzey. Moving from Sunflower, she came to South Bend 38 years ago, and attended Clay High School. She was a member of New Greater Harvest Church where she served in the choir and usher board.

Annie Lee is survived by her mother, Evangelist Shirley (Elder O.L.) Thomas; her father, Richard Elzey, all of South Bend; two sisters, Shirley (John) Chism of Sarasota, Fla., and Sarina Easton of Jacksonville, Fla.; two brothers, Richard Elzey and Charlie Easton Jr., both of South Bend; her grandmother, Maria Brown of South Bend; a' special friend, Darcell Rogers of South Bend; 13 nieces and 17 nephews; and by a host 'of other relatives and friends.

Services for Ms. Smith will be at 4 p.m. Saturday, July 13, in Alford's Mortuary where arrangements have been entrusted.
