Barbara K. Kelly April 5, 1939 - Jan. 2, 1997 Barbara K. Kelly, 57, of Ireland Road, South Bend, died Thursday, Ja. 2, in Hospice House, South Bend. She was born on April 5, 1939, in South Bend, to Edwin and Mabel Umbaugh of Rochester, Ind.

Surviving with her parents are two stepdaughters, Pamela S. Albright of New Carlisle, Ind., and Gayle L. Frahm of Elkhart, Ind.; a stepson, Terry L. Targett of Tacoma, Wash.; five step-grandchildren; one step-great-grandchild; and two brothers, Charles G. Umbaugh of South Bend and Raymond L. Umbaugh of Valparaiso, Ind.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 6, in the Kaniewski Funeral Home Chapel, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend, with Rick Frahm officiating. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 5, in the funeral home. Entombment will follow in Highland Cemetery.

Barbara was a school bus driver for the South Bend Community School Corporation and a member of A.S.F.C.M.E. She was formerly employed as a secretary for Preston Trucking, Carleton Financial Services and a funeral
