Constance Juanita Dodson, 74, residing in Mission, Texas, formerly of South Bend, Ind., passed away from natural causes at 3:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 17, at the Rio Grande Regional Hospital, McAllen, Texas. Mrs. Dodson formerly worked at the Cardavant Laboratories as a technician and worked in the office at the former Star Girl, both of South Bend. Mrs. Dodson was born on Feb. 11, 1925 in South Bend and had been living in Mission for the past 15 years, moving there from South Bend.

On April 30, 1945 in Laredo, Texas, she married Jack H. Dodson, who preceded her in death on Aug. 31, 1995. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Clifford Soderberg. She is survived by a daughter, Pamela West of Elkhart, Ind.; two sons, Neil A. Dodson of Elkhart and Gregg J. Dodson of Traverse City, Mich.: and by eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Dodson was a 1942 graduate of Washington-Clay High School in South Bend, a member of the St. Joseph Valley Golf Association, and a former active member of the Edwardsburg, MI PTA and 4-H Club.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 6, in the Palmer Funeral Home, 1109 Lincolnway West, Osceola, Ind, Rev. Ed Erskin, pastor of the Northway Church of Christ, South Bend, will officiate. Contributions in memory of Constance J. Dodson may be made to the charity of donor's choice.
